The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
