The Brazilian star Extends Apology to Los Blancos Devotees

The Madrid giants attacker Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to supporters for his response when replaced in the recent intense match against Barcelona win.

The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd min and showed his disappointment by going straight down the tunnel.

The Brazilian eventually reappeared to the sidelines and, after his side's narrow triumph, attempted to approach the opposition's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury post-match scenes.

"This day I want to express regret to all the supporters for my reaction when I was taken off in the Clasico," Vinicius posted on X.

"Just as I have already done during today's session, I also want to apologise again to my team-mates, the organization, and the president.

"Sometimes fervor gets the better of me because I always want to triumph and help my team. My competitive character comes from the affection I feel for this institution and each thing it symbolizes."

He joined Real from Brazil in recent years for a significant fee and has scored triple figures in numerous matches.

But his career in the Madrid is uncertain with speculation in recent months suggesting that Los Blancos would contemplate allowing the player leave if they obtained a good proposal.

When the winger was replaced on that day, broadcast footage from network Dazn picked him up remarking: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I go, I'm leaving."

In his most recent statement on X, he stated: "I vow to keep fighting at all times for the benefit of Los Blancos, as I have done since the first day."
